It's always been about food
Growing up Italian, food was always talked about (and eaten, obviously). The kitchen was and still is the heart of the home. Some of my earliest memories include my grandmother standing at the stove making manicotti, and myself browsing the display case at authentic Italian bakeries.
As I've gotten older, the importance of food as part of culture has never wained, and in fact has only gotten more clear. The sight and texture of brilliantly colored ingredients. The sound of a pot of sauce bubbling away. And the conversations, laughter, and love felt gathered around the dinner table with those closest to you. Food is the thread that pulls it all together.
I'm a photographer and creative maker based around Boston, MA. I love to tell visual stories of cuisine and the people who make and inspire it.
